How It Started...
UK Americana/Country duo Tennessee Twin, Victoria and Geoff, met in 1997 - a chance meeting in a recording studio that changed their course forever! From that moment on, Victoria and Geoff's journey in the music industry took an upward trajectory, filled with new opportunities, collaborations, and exciting adventures.
Their fateful meeting not only connected them on a personal level but also ignited a spark of creativity that would go on to captivate audiences around the world. Today, celebrated as a well-loved singer-songwriter duo in the UK Country and Americana world, their story serves as a testament to the power of following one's passion and embracing unexpected opportunities.
Ever Upward
Embarking on a variety of ventures over the past 27 years, they are driven by shared interests, inspiration, determination, and a love of performance & storytelling through music. Their passion has led them to explore different genres, collaborate with other artists, and create timeless melodies that resonate with audiences worldwide. Inspired by the hit TV show "Nashville", 2016 saw the birth of their highly acclaimed project, Tennessee Twin, which not only took the Country and Americana music scene by storm but also earned them numerous prestigious awards.
Their incredible blend of modern Country, Folk & Americana, combined with lyrical honesty and melodic tunes, leave their listeners feeling inspired.
Performances & Releases
Recent performances include : C2C (Country To Country Festival at London's O2 Arena); The British Country Music Festival; Cambridge Folk Festival; Buckle & Boots Festival; The West Country Music Festival; Foodies Festivals; Country on the Coast & Nashville Calling. They've also appeared overseas, including dates in Nashville, Denver, and Amsterdam.
Their debut EP ‘Tips In A Jar’ went straight into the iTunes UK Country Chart at No.1 back in 2019. Before ‘Tips In A Jar’, their 2018 song ‘Wings Of Red White & Blue’ won the British Airways/Nashville Music City song-writing competition, taking them to record in Nashville, Tennessee.
Other single releases include: ‘Two Heart Rendezvous’ (2019), ‘Every Story’ (2020), ‘Rewind’ (2021) and ‘When We Move’ (2021) which was nominated for Song Of The Year. In February 2023 they released ‘Rear View Mirror’ – winner of the ISSA Silver Award for International Band Single Of The Year 2023 – featuring Sarah Jory. This was followed by rock-country song 'Fit To Love' in August 2023 and 'Apple Tree' in November 2023.
With their talent, charisma, and unwavering commitment to their craft, this duo continues to captivate hearts and minds, pushing the boundaries of the genre and leaving an indelible mark on the industry.
