The Sound of Silence - Single

This latest single, originally written by Paul Simon and recorded by Simon & Garfunkel, is being released to promote suicide awareness in conjunction with Papyrus UK. Having been touched by the stories of several friends who have been impacted by suicide in recent years, Geoff & Victoria felt they might be able to help promote awareness of the support available to people affected, especially as Christmas approaches. This new release hopes to do just that.

The single, which is completely self-produced at Tennessee Twin's studio in Newmarket, lends the duo's trademark harmonies to the song alongside a suite of acoustic instruments, paying homage to the mood of the original recording. Geoff & Victoria hope it can bring some hope and comfort to anyone who hears it, no matter what circumstances they find themselves in.
